Never before have organisations been under so much pressure to create and sustain cultures that support employee wellbeing. Flexible working, globalisation, technology and more recently the mental health first aid movement, have all paved the way for reviewing our ways of working in the workplace with positive effects on both employees and profit.
Many organisations have for a long time been holding on to the notion that more flexible working, improved inclusion and better employee wellbeing lead to trust issues, increased operating costs and poor productivity. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Recent world events with the global COVID-19 pandemic have demonstrated that when you are forced to work from home, or more flexibly, productivity usually goes up. The work gets done, it just gets done differently.
Employee well being – Programs, consultancy, courses & resources
We’ve been providing employee wellbeing programs, consultancy, courses & resources to organisations to support a whole person approach to employee wellbeing for over 30 years. We noticed ten years ago that the market for corporate wellbeing programmes shifted. Many medium and larger organisations moved to an employee assistance scheme outsourced to other providers. More recently the mental health first aid movement has called to integrate employee wellbeing within a culture, to put it at the heart of an organisation in order for the benefits to work from the inside out. These benefits have started to prevail. But we are only at the start of better staff wellbeing for many organisations.
Corporate health and wellbeing for employees
The Oasis way of delivering workplace wellbeing programs, consultancy, courses & resources is different. We work in relationship with our clients and genuinely care about supporting the development of a culture from the inside out. One where the planet and people really do matter.
We’ll be alongside you like a critical friend and a supportive cheerleader helping and guiding you to figure out what will work within your organisation. One size does not fit all. Each organisation has their own DNA and we need to honour that to figure out what creating a great place to work looks like (where employee health and wellness programmes in the workplace are an integral part of the culture, not a bolt-on).
As well as working in consultancy with you, we have several packages already tried and tested that will support your organisation into better wellbeing and resilience and create a culture that encourages individuals to reach their full potential.
