Power, Conflict and Cooperation: The Challenges of Working in a Peer-based Organisation
The Oasis Summer Salon with a focus on peer-based organisations and launching PEERWorks publication.
Enter into deeper dialogue and meaningful action in a relaxed environment. Bring practical wisdom to shaping great organisations and responsible practice.
Peer working is transforming how we work together in organisations and communities. The evening brings to life how we collaborate, innovate and deal with things when tensions arise. We’ll also be launching the new Oasis Foundation publication, the PEERWorks Handbook, a grassroots publication for fostering peer-based working in practice.
The Oasis Summer Salon will be held on 28th June. The focus will be on ‘the era of peer-based organisations?’
Conversation starters:
- Clare Short, Chair of the Cities Alliance and Former MP
- Ed Mayo, Secretary General, Cooperatives UK
- Mary Hodgson, Ex Head of Research, The Young Foundation
There will be opportunities for small group discussion of peer organisations, their values and currency for the workplace of tomorrow.
For those interested, the Oasis Foundation AGM will be on the same evening at 5pm. There will be light bites served at 6.30pm for those attending both events.
